ABOUT
Martin Jäderberg is a woodwind player, composer and arranger based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Born and raised in Gävle, Martin picked up the saxophone at the age eleven and knew right away that this instrument truly is something really special.
Through playing with groups such as Gävleborgs Ungdoms Big Band (GUBB), Hennes Majestät, Martin Jäderberg Kvartett, Nya Blue Note and Mappe3, Martin has earned a great experience in music.
Studying at Lunnevad and Fridhems Folkhögskolor eventually brought Martin to Gothenburg where he acquired a Bachelor in Improvisation Performance at the Academy of Music and Drama studying for Anders Hagberg, Anders Jormin, Merje Kägu and Thomas Markusson.
Martin has worked with Bohuslän Big Band, and arranged the piece "Ikaros" for them in 2020.
In 2019 Martin acquired Gävle Jazzclubs youth scholarship and in 2022 he acquired the scholarship "Åke Hasselgårdsstipendiet" from Bollnäs Jazzclub.
